Southern Forestry maintains close contact with forest owning companies and rural real estate agents with existing forests or rural properties suitable for afforestation. Our service includes screening and researching properties for their suitability for forestry in terms of cost, markets, potential growth, location, climate, topography, access and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Preparation of applications to the Overseas Investment Commission and for Resource Management Act consents.
- To undertake due diligence assessments on behalf of purchasers for investments in existing forests.
