Owen has worked for the past 18 years as self-employed consultant both nationally and internationally, but principally through the firm Groome Pöyry Ltd. as a general forestry consultant until 1997, and then on his own account since then. Within New Zealand, Owen has provided independent consulting services focusing mainly on forest valuations, forest audits, forest management and resource planning. Owen has been instrumental in setting up and providing forestry consulting services to numerous forestry partnerships and to other forestry investors.

Alan Ogle spent the first 12 years of his career as a business consultant specialising initially as a business and economic consultant concentrating on New Zealand and South Pacific client work.
Since 1981 he has worked as a specialist business consultant to the forest industry in New Zealand and overseas. He spent 19 years contracted principally to the Groome & Associates/ Groome Pöyry Ltd/ Jaakko Pöyry Group. This work has included forestry valuations, project preparation/ design/ feasibility studies, project team management, forestry sector policy studies, financial and economic analysis, corporate/ business planning, management audits, market studies for forest products, institutional strengthening and reform (including corporatisation and privatisation), and strategic advice on planning for business growth.
Alan has worked on assignments in 26 countries, including most countries in the Asia/ Pacific area plus several in Africa and North/ Central America. As well as a large private sector clientele, he has worked extensively for the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and other aid agencies.
Alan is also a director of Ogle Miller Consulting Ltd - a Canterbury based forestry consulting company.

Greg is a Business, Marketing and Financial Consultant. He is the director and shareholder of a number of companies. His own company, Intrade Enterprises Ltd., has an established trading, investment and management relationship with companies in the People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea. Greg has 7 years experience as an overseas Trade Commissioner for New Zealand in SE Asia and the USA. He has previously held a senior position with the NZ Government as Director of Business Competition and Corporate Affairs. More recently Greg has focused on raising finance for forestry projects in Southland and Canterbury and in this capacity is managing overseas portfolio investment funds on behalf of business clients.
